Happy New Year!
Welcome back. I hope you have had a lovely break. Our topic for this half term is 'Fair trade'. We will use the topic for our writing in literacy producing persuasive leaflets, and explanations about fair trade. In maths we will be looking at fractions and time. Your child will need to continue working towards achieving their passport target and spellings, as well as daily reading. If even if you haven't listened to your child read, but know they have read still record the reading in their record book. We do ask that you try to listen to your child read at least 3 times per week if not every day. Homework will be available weekly on the class page in an effort to cut down on printing. If you have limited access to the school website please let me know as I am happy to provide paper copies for those children.
If you want to chat to any of the Year 4 team, please see us in the playground before or after school or make an appointment via the office.
