The online world is rapidly developing and many of our children now have access to devices which enable them to connect to the internet, take images or video and communicate with others. While it is important not to obstruct them from developing skills from using these devices, it is essential that parents support their children in navigating the online world. At Ingrow we deliver age appropriate, child-friendly eSafeguarding lessons throughout the year as we recognise that it underpins everything we do.

Please use the resources available to ensure you keep yourself and your family safe whilst accessing the internet at home.

If you do feel as though you need further advice or support regarding any issues, please speak to a member of the eSafeguarding team in school:

Mrs Vinnicombe, Mrs Campbell, Mrs Murphy or Mrs Fraser-Rees.

All teaching staff and support have been trained by CEOP (child exploitation and online protection) and are available to help.

The Digital Leaders are part of the school's eSafeguarding team; they ensure pupils are aware of the risks posed online. They deliver child-friendly assemblies, manage data, set competitions and deliver sessions to classes.
