In Nursery, we run a morning only session. In Caterpillars class Mrs Grant-Muller is the Nursery teacher and working alongside her is Mrs Bartlett, the Nursery Nurse.
At Ingrow, we offer a curriculum rich in wonder and memorable experiences. We work hard to provide a stimulating environment that provides exciting opportunities, promotes challenge, exploration, adventure and a real love of learning. Our adults are passionate about providing the children with the very best early education and are specialists in nurturing the children and supporting them to develop a curiosity and love of learning. Our curriculum is bespoke and builds upon our children’s life experiences, to provide them with the skills and knowledge they need to be the best they can be.
We explore our bespoke curriculum through the following topics:
To help our youngest children get to know Ingrow School and the people in it, we will take the children on exciting exploring adventures around school. We will visit the school library, get to know what happens in the school office and explore our many outside areas. We want our Nursery children to have a real sense of belonging to our school community.
A typical day in Nursery consists of settling in time, welcome time and register, phase 1 Phonics, milk time, choosing time followed by Biscuits & Books, maths time and story. In our choosing time there are plenty of opportunities to learn through play both through our fantastic indoor and outdoor classrooms come rain or shine!
Our nursery session is from 8:45am until 11:45am
We aim to keep you up-to-date with all the fun we have through our online platform, Class Dojo. We work in partnership with our parents, so please speak to us if you have and queries.
